- Congratulations to Dylan Hayden on his successful college auditions at Baldwin-Wallace College and The University of Akron.
- Congratulations to William Kan for earning a SUPERIOR (I) Rating on his snare drum solo "Accentuate" by Edward Freytag at the OMEA Junior High Solo and Ensemble Contest.
- Congratulations to former student Eric Beach (Kent State Stark) who is the new member of the group So Percussion. After Kent Stark, Eric went on to study at the Peabody School and Yale University. He is presently a Fulbright Scholar in Germany.
January, 2008 - Student Achievements
- Congratulations to Dylan Hayden on his being named to the Ohio All-State Jazz Ensemble. Dylan will be performing with the band at the OMEA Convention in Cincinnati this February.
- Congratulations to former student Carol Dieball. Carol has won the concerto competition at Cleveland State and will be performing the Creston Concertino with the University Orchestra this coming semester.
