Infertility

This page is for all Latter-day Saint parents who have had difficulty conceiving a child (infertility), or have not been able to conceive after previously giving birth (secondary infertility).

 ENTER THE FORUMAs I have received letters from LDS couples struggling with infertility, I realized what is needed here is not so much individual stories as an opportunity to get together and get to know one another, to alleviate the feelings of aloneness and alienation. Infertility is not so much an event, like a miscarriage; it is a day-to-day struggle and search for answers and solutions--a constant challenge. I encourage you to use the forum/message board provided on this site. Anyone visiting may read posts, but only registered users may reply or post messages.

Mailing Lists Available

Mailing lists are more immediate, with messages delivered to your email inbox, and depending on the group settings, can be more private. I highly recommend them--I've made some wonderful friends this way. Search through the Groups pages at Yahoo with "LDS," "infertility," or similar terms to bring up the current active groups. Yahoo lists how many members each group has, and the number of posts per day, so you can choose one the right size for your needs. They are always changing, but there were at least nine available groups at last count. If I know one thing, I know you're not alone.
