I'd like to take a moment to share my sincere beliefs. Please read on.

I would like to bear you my witness that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He is real. He lives. He knows and loves each one of us individually. My testimony of His divinity and His perfect love permeates every fiber of my being. If you have not already done so, I encourage you to discover this truth for yourself, through the power of prayer. God will answer your questions when you pray with real intent, believing an answer will come.

I testify that He has answered mine, time and time again.

These scriptures contain the word of God, and hold many plain and precious truths that will enlighten your mind and enrich your life.

Are we Christians? Absolutely. The name of our church is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Does the Book of Mormon replace the Bible? Not at all. It stands as a second witness to the truth of the Bible, reaffirming the divinity of Christ.

The world is a mess - that's no secret. There is so much of senseless violence, hatred, and crime. But it's not meant to be that way. The Lord's plan for us is a plan of happiness. Every soul is a precious child of God, with a divine inheritance. We are all brothers and sisters, with a stewardship to take care of ourselves, each other, and the earth. I believe we innately want to return home to Him... we feel that longing... so many have lost our way, and often don't recognize that longing for what it is. Jesus Christ is the way. Yet many try to fill that emptiness with artificial means which have no real power to bless our lives, and in fact, can set us on pathways of self-destruction which lead to heartache and misery.

I testify that Jesus can and will fill that emptiness with gladness and light. He is the answer. The secret to real, lasting happiness lies in His simple, gentle words, "Come, follow me."

Seek to invite the Holy Spirit into your life daily through prayer, and look for the still, small whispers of inspiration which will come as you do so. It feels like a burning glow, a warm light, or a brightening of your mind and soul. It's as hard to describe as trying to define what salt tastes like - but it is real. Once you taste its sweetness, it brings joy into your life like nothing else possibly can. It brings comfort where there was sorrow, peace where there was conflict and confusion. It brings direction. It brings hope.

I can't begin to measure the overflowing blessings in my life that have come to me as I try my best to follow the promptings of the Spirit and live the commandments the best I can. Every day I make mistakes. I'm far from perfect. Yet I know Jesus loves me, and you, and that He has an infinite amount of patience with us. There is always a way home.
