Internet Access
People in Botswana can sign up for dialup access to the Internet. Access to the Internet is still rather slow, and of course, you have to have a land-based telephone line available to dial out from your computer.
Internet cafes are available in several towns, including Gaborone and Francistown. You pay a small fee for short-term access to the 'Net using their computers.
Info Botswana Internet Services is one ISP. You an e-mail them before departing to ask specific Internet access questions.
By the way, Instant Messaging is one of the best ways to get communicate with people - it tends to work more reliably. E-mail clients (especially webmail) can be very, very slow.
