Over the years, I have had a chance to travel to some really nifty places. After checking out a lot of the usual tourist experiences, I've kept a list of a few fun things to do.

Beach and Waterfront Destinations A section highlighting destinations near large bodies of water. In Botswana, rain is so important in the water-starved country side that the word for rain, pula, also is the term for their currency. Can you imagine modifying English so that a term for a dollar bill is "ocean"? Probably not. But whatever the case, from coral reefs to frigid lakes, large bodies of water are great to explore.
City Destinations Cities mean culture, crowds, crazy cabbies ... and often yummy cuisine. From Gackle, North Dakota to Jordan, Montana, this section explores some favorite things to do in cities and towns I like. (And I'm just joking about Gackle and Jordan).
The Mountains and Plains Mountains. The Great Plains. The open countryside. Big skys. Fresh air. Favorite places in Canada, Montana, North Dakota, Europe, New Hampshire. You still have to pay me to reveal information about Montana (help prevent overcrowding). But don't worry, I'll give you information about visiting North Dakota for free.
