Summaries A-E
Summaries
First off there are 2 kinds of anime you can buy. Ones
released in the US which are sold at places like
Animenation, Animecastle, and Reel.com. The others are
called fansubs, these are anime subtitled by fans, for
fans that are not released in the US. They are
inexpensive ($5-$8) and gives you a chance to see some
great anime that may or may not be released in the US.
You can see a list of fansubtitlers at Anipike. Alright
on to the summaries.

Here is my rating system:
5 Stars!!!-Incredible anime, don't miss this. Has
great plot, animation, everything about it is sweet.
4.5 Stars-These are definitely worth checking out
and are almost 5's, but only the best anime gets a 5 star
rating.
4 Stars-Very good anime still worth buying. These
are anime other people might consider 4.5 or 5 Stars so
check'em out.
3 Stars-Good anime has cool parts worth renting
first.
2 Stars-Your taking your chances with these, maybe
the previews looked good but the anime isn't.
1 Star-Avoid these like the plague!!! (there
aren't many) Remember these are my opinions, so try
different anime out, because you may like what I don't.

The anime that started it all in the US. Tetsuo a picked

endowed with the powers of Akira after an accident. Will
he use it for good or evil? Find out in this very
complex, cool, but somewhat bizarre anime. (out of print,
but not for long ^_^)

Berserk - 4.5 Stars
This series revolves around Gatts who is a bad mofo that
carries around a big ass sword. The story starts off with
Gatts traveling as a mercenary for hire when he catches
the eye of Griffith the leader of a ragtag army called
the Hawks. Gatts unwillingly joins Griffith after losing
to him in a duel, but with their alliance they are
unstoppable on the battlefield. The only problem now is
controlling Griffiths's ambitions. Very cool series with
a plot that will grab you. Lots of blood too for those
who like violence. (fansub)

Blue Seed - 4 Stars
Momiji thought whe was normal until a military group
called the TAC informed her that she was actually the
princess Kushinada. She ends up being the key to putting
the evil Aragami back to sleep (unfortunately it's with
her death). Can the TAC keep Momiji alive and get rid of
the Aragami? This series starts off very dark and
dramatic, but in later episodes adds a little light
humor. It's a pretty cool series with a very interesting
plot. (US release)

Junta Momonari a high school loser carries DNA that turns
him into a mega playboy. In mega playboy form no woman
can resist him, and in the future he overpopulates the
world with more mega playboys. So Karin is sent from the
future to change his DNA, too bad she is very
incompetent. Guess where this one goes. Very funny and
pretty cool story. (fansub)

Dragon Ball Z - 4 Stars
What can i say? It's the longest running cartoon in
history so it's gotta be great. Join Goku a Sayin Warrior
and his ultra powerful friends as they rid the universe
of its never ending flow of evil. I would rate this
series a 5 Star easy if the early episodes didn't suck.
It gets better and better as the series goes on.
Definitely watch the uncut versions though. (US release)
