5 Stars!!!-Incredible anime, don't miss this. Has great plot, animation, everything about it is sweet.
4 & 1/2 Stars-These are definitely worth checking out and are almost 5's, but only the best anime gets a 5 star rating.
4 Stars-Very good anime still worth buying. These are anime other people might consider 4 & 1/2 or 5 Stars so check'em out.
3 Stars-Good anime has cool parts worth renting first.
2 Stars-Your taking your chances with these, maybe the previews looked good but the anime isn't.
1 Star-Avoid these like the plague!!! (there aren't many) Remember these are my opinions, so try different anime out, because you may like what I don't.

Neo Genesis Evangelion - 4 1/2 Stars
Very popular anime, stars Shinji Ikari as the reluctant pilot of Evangelion 01. Which is a giant mech that is humanites last line of defense against the angels that attack Tokyo-3 every episode. Very cool plot a lot of twists, a little hard to follow so watch carefully. (US release)

Ninja Cadets - 4 1/2 Stars
Six ninjas in training are sent on thir initiation mission to an old castle to retrieve some magic scrolls as proof they are ready to become full fledged ninjas. Little do they know thier journey will be especially challenging since they are constantly getting lost, being stalked by sorcoreres, and trying to break into a heavily guarded castle. Great Anime. Awsome action, very funny , definately check this one out. (US release)

Ninja Scroll - 4 Stars
Action, violence...you've got plenty in this one. Jubei a samurai battles the 8 devils of Kimone with the help of a ninja girl Kagero, whose kiss alone is poisonous enough to kill a man. They thrash their enemies and confront an old rival of Jubei's. Very cool, but definitely put the kids to bed for this one, very violent. (US release)

Oh!! My Goddess (Ah!! Megumi-Sama) - 5 Stars!!!
Kechii Morisato, kind of a loser in college meets Belldandy, a goddess, who says she'll grant him one wish. The wish he chooses is for her to be with him forever, although the complications that come with this wish might just tear him and Beldandy apart. Great story one of the best endings in any anime, both funny and dramatic. (US release)

Please Save My Earth - 4 Stars
7 aliens chosen to live on a moonbase and watch over Earth mysteriously die, and are reincarnated as humans on Earth. As they re-enter each other's lives, and regain past memories, the mystery unravels on what really happened on the moonbase. Cool Plot, definitely worth checking out.

Ranma 1/2 - 4 1/2 Stars
One of the funniest animes. Ranma is a high school boy with problems. When he is dowsed with cold water he turns into a girl. Throw in rivals from the past, girls that love him as a boy, and boys that love him as a girl it's no wonder this is one of the most popular animes of all time. (US release)

Record of Lodoss War - 4 1/2 Stars
It's like watching an RPG unfold before your eyes. Join Parn, Deedlit, and a cast of others who defend Lodoss from the wicked hordes of Marmo. If you like J.R. Tolkem books like the "Hobbit" you'll love this series.(US release)

Chronicles of the Heroic Knight - 4 1/2 Stars
How could they make Record of Lodoss War any better? Easy update the animation and make it into a TV series. Parn and all your old friends are back along with some cool new friends. Plot is different but very cool, animation is beefed up, and if the opening dosen't grab you, you should probably check yourself for a pulse. A definate must have. (US release)

Ruin Explores - 4 Stars
Fam and Ira explore ruins for treasure but mostly find trouble. When they go after the ultimate power their journey really begins. Good series very funny the only complaint I have is that it is too short. (US release)

Rurouni Kenshin - 5 Stars!!!
Journey with Himura Kenshin, master of the Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu sword technique and once the feared Hitokiri Battousai of the Japanese civil war. He now gives up killing and uses his Sakabatou (backwards blade sword) to protect the ones he loves. One of the best combinations of great story, action, drama, comedy, and animation. A personal favorite of both Dan and mine. (US release)
