How can you be invoved?

En Christo belives in earning the right to be heard and that faith without works is dead.  It is for this reason that En Christo asks its student participants to commit to an entire semester at a time. A strong emphasis has been placed upon being consistently present with the people we meet each week. We believe this is one of the foundations for building a trusting relationship. This same commitment is requested of those in the community who wish to be involved during the school year.

Regular En Christo Schedule while Whitworth is in Session
Lunch making Saturday, 3:30pm - Marriott Dining Hall in the Student Center
Prayer, Worship & Outreach Saturday 5:30pm - 9:30pm; Downtown En Christo Worship Center
Discipleship M-Th 6:00pm - 8:30pm (Contact Coordinator for scheduling and team assignments)

However, since En Christo mainly consists of students during the school year, there are times when school is out of session. It is during these times that local churches and individuals are most needed to continue the ministry of En Christo.  The summer ministry depends greatly on the Churches to make lunches and assist the core group in delivering the lunches.

The following table shows the schedule for when En Christo will be needing community assistance:

*Summer Break - For the summer, a core group of individuals is developed who have commited themselves to the majority of the summer weekends (mostly students).  Community churches are then asked to supplement the core group on a rotating schedule. This has provided the best consistency to date. If you would like to be a part of this core group, or think that your church or organization would like to be a part of this core group, please contact Jared Hungerford at Jhungerford@mail.whitworth.edu
