Smooth "Hammer Stone"

Hammer Stones like the one on the left were used to squash stuff, chip stone, crack bones, or whatever. The one on the left is smooth. It may have been used as a mortar... I don't know cause I wasn't there... Now the one on the right seems to have been used to polish stuff. It's kinda got some silky smooth areas...(1)

Below we have a bit of carved stone... It seems it was broken during manufacture... It was found with Woodland period material. Folks carved stuff in various shapes including the shapes of animals and people...(2).
