Think about it...
there are some reporters who have never actually met the president that could give you a great many details about him, his favorite ice cream, the name of his dog, what high school he went to...
But do they KNOW the president, have they ever had breakfast with him, or played tennis with him, ya know spent quality time with him...

uh, there is actually going to be a point to all this, but you'll have to hang with me because I'm on a roll...

Ok, so there's this song that was popular just a little while ago... (pretend you're hearing music while you read the following:) "What if God were one of us, just a slob like one of us, just a stranger on a bus... [whatever, blah, blah]"...

Here's the kicker... I think he was... or still is for that matter... I'm not talking about anyone you've never heard of or know nothing about.

He went to a lot of trouble to get to know you (or vice versa, actually)... You can know more about him by grabbing a bible and reading the "New Testament"; you can get to know him by turning your life over to him.

Duh... of coarse I'm talking about Jesus, but if I'd said that at the get go you'd have already made up your mind about what I was gonna say... (sorry).
