For millennia people have been producing and discarding lithic tools in the North Carolina Piedmont. The For many of these tools we can only surmise their actual usage based on the study of lithics.
In the North Carolina Piedmont, development is rampant. Ultra-

The bull dozer blade often uncovers (and destroys) ancient lithic tools manufactured a long time ago. Method It is important to recognize that these artifacts are tools and that their association with their location and other tools found with them is important.
If you find and/or collect these tools, it is important to document as closely as possible their location and association. of Otherwise, the valuable information they can provide for archaeology will be lost, forever.
