Unifaces are flakes or blades that have been "worked" on one face. As a result you often get a tool with a steep working edge. Most of these tools are called scrapers (1,2,3,4,5,6,7). (These thingys are used to make hides squeezably soft, shape wood or bone, or as a darn good way to relieve an itch (I should know, I've tried it.)	Side Scraper	The working edge of a side scraper is on its long side. (Imagine that...)
End Scraper	This Early Archaic style scraper (3, 6) was found at a site with some Palmer points. Place your mouse pointer on the scraper to flip it up for a side view (if this isn't working for you, click here).	End Scraper
