Claudia Schaetzle

born in Freiburg ( Germany), holds degrees from the Musikhochschule Wuerzburg (Germany), Conservatoire National de Musique de Bordeaux (France), and the Akademie fuer Tonkunst Darmstadt (Germany ), where she studied with Guenter Priesner, Jean-Marie Londeix and Linda-Ann Bangs. Ms. Schaetzle is currently studying with John Sampen in a Performance Certificate Program at the Bowling Green State University,Ohio. She is a former member of the South German Saxophone Chamber-Orchestra, which can be heard on Orgon recording labels. Ms. Schaetzle has performed as a recitalist and chamber musician on Soprano-, Alto-,Tenor- and Baritone-Saxophone in Europe and the U.S.A. She is particularly recognized as a distinguished artist in contemporary literature. Her performances include a premiere of a piece by Harald Genzmer and recitals at the New Music Festival in Darmstadt (Germany).
