MANUALS
There may be some books in the AUCTR library, about things Hispanic,
that fit some definition of manuals, but they do not have it in the title and will show up in Other Books.
ALMANACS
I found none that were both relevant and useful.
GOVERNMENT DOCUMENTS
Central Intelligence Agency (2002). World Factbook.
Washington, DC: Author. [Call Number GOV PREX 3.15] This is the basic reference for any country, Hispanic
or otherwise. It also covers areas like the Malvinas that most people would not consider countries.
Directly underneath that book are a set of books, many of them out
of date, but some very useful, called "Country Studies." Pick your Hispanic country and see what you get. Otherwise,
for government information, try online or look under "Consulates & Other Foreign Government Representatives" in:
BellSouth (2002). The Real Yellow Pages (2003).
Atlanta, GA: Author.
