Overview: What is TIAS?

TIAS stands for Traffic Irregularity Analysis System.

TIAS is a tool for identifying and tracking problems in a network. TIAS is based on the TONICS platform.

TIAS is one of a set of network traffic management systems, which also includes NETTRAC and MOQ. NETTRAC and TIAS are both client-server systems on the TONICS platform.

TIAS lets you track and identify problems across multiple domains, using messages from any source. TIAS doesn't just monitor problems. It also lets you define problems, as well as identify and track them.

This manual describes the standard X-client interface. In addition, TIAS also has a web interface for database and historical queries.
