World War II - Censored Mail

Air Letter from Viggio Beckmann, Box 164 Lisbon Portugal, via Great Britain to Trangisvaag.  Viggio Beckmann functioned as an intermediary to Thomas Cooke and Son Ltd. - Post Office Box 506 Lisbon.  This letter has been opened on three sides and the inner tissue paper of the envelope has been removed to prevent passage of secret messages. The envelope was then resealed with brown tape.
