The Hot Club of Huntsville is
an all-acoustic ensemble playing swing jazz and French café music from the 20’s - 40’s. Their name is a tribute to La Quintette du Hot Club de France, the most celebrated jazz group of Europe in the 1930’s,
as founded by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli.
HCH uses violin,
lead and rhythm guitars, with upright bass, to capture the Hot Club sound - still one of the most satisfying and unique
sounds of any jazz ensemble.
