Note #1: My scanner is crap, I beg your forgiveness.
Note #2: "Award Winning" is crap, too. But it sounds cool.

"Crescent Moon"
New Kent County Fair, 2001: First place! Cash Prize: $1.00!!!
Category: Shadows and/or Reflections
The poor scanner really shows here, that or I manipulated the electronic image a bit much in order
to get it to look like it does in the real picture. Have lots and lots of pictures of crescent moons.
Paper: Ilford Multigrade IV RC, Pearl finish.
"Deer Season, CODA"
New Kent County Fair, 2001: Second place! Cash Prize: 50 cents!!!!
Category: Exhibitors Choice

As a sidenote. I was forced to use a #5 filter on this image and don't forget judicious use of burn/dodge.
The film I used was the Kodak B&W that can be processed at your 1 hour photo shop. Dang, the negatives
came back so bland, so low contrast that I swore I'd never use that film again. It sucks.
Or maybe I did something wrong. :)
That is what I get for being lazy. I now stick with TMax 100 or similar and develop the negatives
in my basement.
"Swamp Boardwalk"

Virginia State Fair, 2001: Second Place! Cash Prize: $5.00!

Paper: Ilford Multigrade IV RC, Pearl finish. Have not gotten this image to look the
way I want on a fiber-based paper, but I'm still trying!
"Shack Unshacked"
New Kent County Fair, 2001: First place! Cash Prize: $1.00!
Not sure why it won, I wasn't going to enter it but Tammy told me too.
Maybe I will listen to her more often. :)

"Terns"
New Kent County Fair, 2000: First place! Cash Prize: $1.00!
Category: Animals
Paper: Kodak Ektalure. Man I loved that paper, I had a stash left and was able to print this image. My stash has been depleted
but I have "discovered" Luminos. Good stuff from Luminos!
Crap scanner also shows its weakness here.
Sidenote: I can't remember how I got this image to print with such high contrast. The negative
certainly does not look it. Alas, I drank too much wine while developing this picture and neglected
to write down the darkroom details. Doh!
"Tressel"
New Kent County Fair, 2000: Second place! Cash Prize: 50 cents!
Category: Scenic
Paper: Kodak Ektalure
Total winnings to date: $15.50! Worry not, I have reported all my cash prize winnings to the IRS. *cackle*
