Kurt V. Ullman, President
Providing Medical Communications
Services Since 1985
Introduction
Medical Communicators was started
in early
1985 to teach seminars on fire safety to those who staff Nursing Homes.
At about the same time, I began to write articles on medically related
subjects for many magazines.
As time went on, the practice grew in size
and services offered. Soon, I found myself writing and designing
newsletters,
magazines, newspaper columns and even an advertisement for a group of
Neurologists!
Since then, over 500 articles of mine have appeared
in major magazines such as The Rheumatologist, Arthritis
Self-Management and Baylor Innovations. In addition, I have
served
as a Contributing Editor at Firehouse magazine and at CV
Nurse:
Trends in Cardiovascular Care. I have worked for both
the professional and consumer sides of WebMD exposing me to
most of the major clinical specialties.
I bring a diversified academic experience to my
clients. I hold a B.S. degree in Mass Communications Media, an
Associates
in Applied Science in Nursing and a Masters in Health Administration.
This
gives me a background in both the clinical and operational sides of
healthcare.
My work experience includes five years as a
newspaper
reporter and three years in radio. I was Health Editor at The
Saturday
Evening Post with responsibility for writing their weekly "Life
Care
Digest" segment for airing on the "700 Club".
Medical Communicators is ready to help you with
many of your editorial needs. From patient teaching materials to
