I was born and raised in New York City. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in History from New York University, I began teaching History in the New York City Public School system. While teaching , I continued my education at NYU and completed a Master of Arts in International Education in 1996.
In pursuit of teaching in a global venue, I applied at the European Council of Inter- national Schools for a position outside the United States. In the fall of 1997, I began teaching History at the Berlin-Potsdam International School in Germany for two years. Following one year at the French-American School in San Francisco, I returned to Ger- many and am currently teaching International Baccalaureate History and Theory of Knowledge at the Munich International School.
