Quartz Crystals from Arkansas

We visited a few quartz mines in Arkansas this past spring, and brought back some very nice, affordable specimens. The black-phantom crystals were a great find, because you do not see them on the market very often.

____Quartz with a black phantom inside, Wegner Mine, Mt. Ida, Arkansas (G11-367, $25). This specimen is about 2" tall. We have several of these unique crystals and crystal clusters, with prices ranging from $10-$33, with most under $20.

____Quartz with a black phantom and other inclusions inside, Wegner Mine, Mt. Ida, Arkansas (G11-356, $33. This specimen is about 3" tall, with a 1" tall phantom crystal.

__ Quartz, Wegner Mine, Mt. Ida, Arkansas (G11-344, $40). This is a very unique specimen, featuring twinned crystals, and a tabular shape. It's a large specimen, about 4" wide.

__Quartz crystal cluster, Wegner Mine, Mt. Ida, Arkansas (G11-334 $30). This specimen is about 3.0" wide and 2.0" tall. We have several other of these showy specimens, with prices ranging from $12-$40, with most under $25.

__Quartz crystals, Miller Mtn. Mine, Jessieville, Arkansas (G11-501, $5 for 10 specimens). We collected lots of quartz crystals at this mine, and have put them in bags containing 10-25 crystals, depending on size. Prices range from $2-$5 per bag.
