ULI BAHMANN COLLECTION

We recently acquired a lot of minerals from the Erongo Mountains in Namibia from the Uli Bahmann collection. Minerals that we acquired included aquamarine, topaz, tourmaline (schorl), fluorite, and quartz. These specimens,especially the aquamarines, are a much higher quality than what we were able to purchase when we were in Namibia, and the prices reflect this higher quality. The following is a small sampling of what we have to offer.

__Aquamarine, Erongo Mtns., Namibia (#G11-1187, $125). This specimen is 1.75" tall, and it has great color.

____Aquamarine and tourmaline (schorl), Erongo Mtns, Namibia (#G11-1133, $120). The aquamarine is a deeper blue than is shown in the photos. The specimen is 1.75" tall and 1.75" across.

____Tourmaline (schorl) with aquamarine, Erongo Mtns., Namibia (#G11-1146, $130). A very showy tourmaline specimen, with delicate crystal terminations. Some tourmaline is growing within the aquamarine crystal. The specimen is 2" tall and 2.5" across.

__Flourite and tourmaline (schorl), Erongo Mountains, Namibia (#G11-1111, $60). This specimen also has hyalite opal coating some of the fluorite crystals, and the opal fluoresces a brilliant green. The specimen is 1.75" tall and 1.5" across.

__Fluorite, Erongo Mountains, Namibia (#G11-1093, $90). This is a beautiful, zoned crystal combination that is 1.75" tall and 1.5" across.

__Fluorite and orthoclase feldspar, Erongo Mtns., Namibia (#G11-1150, $150). This specimen also has some hyalite opal coating the feldspar. The specimen is 3" across and 1.25" tall.

____Aquamarine and tourmaline (schorl), Erongo Mtns., Namibia (#G11-1130, $90). This specimen is 3" across and 2" tall, and is a showy display piece.
