The 2010 Reunion will take place at the Holiday Inn Lakewood, in Lakewood, Colorado. Some of you may remember staying at this Holiday Inn while attending training classes or other meetings. (NOTE: This is NOT the former Holiday Inn in Golden) The hotel underwent a multimillion dollar renovation recently, and features a new, on-site restaurant (Sporting News Grill). All rooms have free high-speed internet access, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, and iron/ironing board. Two restaurants are within walking distance from the hotel and over 30 are available within a 5 mile radius. The hotel offers free shuttle service within a 5-mile radius. Shopping opportunities include Southwest Plaza mall, south of the hotel, and the Belmar shopping area, north of the hotel.
100 rooms have been reserved for the reunion -- we can get more rooms if reservations are made before the August 1, 2010 deadline. There is no charge for parking at the hotel. Rooms consist of both King and 2-bedded rooms. The rate is $89.00 per room plus tax, and includes complimentary breakfast. Rates will be honored if the guest wishes extend their stay, either coming in early or staying later.
NOTE: If you are going on the Glenwood Springs post-reunion trip, you can stay at the Holiday Inn on the night that you return from the trip (Tues. 9/14). The rate will be the same ($89 plus tax), and you can store your luggage and park your car at the hotel for free. You should make your reservation for that night when you make your hotel reservation for the reunion.
