SPECIMENS FROM BRAZIL

We have a large variety of Brazilian specimens, and the photos here just show some representative samples. In addition to those shown here we have tourmaline, lepidolite, barite, smoky quartz, quartz with tourmaline, rose quartz, citrine, and other quartz-microcline-muscovite combinations.

NEW! Anhydrite and quartz after anhydrite, some with calcite, from Irai, Rio Grande du Sul. We acquired a large lot of these specimens, just a few of which are shown here.

____Calcite on quartz after anhydrite, G10-300. ($62). A very showy piece with these delicate calcite crystals perched on the quartz after anhydrite. Prices on these range from $34-$68.

____ Calcite and anhydrite on amethyst (G10-293, $72). Very showy, colorful specimens with sprays of small, fluorescent calcite crystals on both the amethyst and anhydrite. We have several of these priced from $22-$72.

Amethyst, various locations, Brazil. We carry amethyst in several different forms, including crystal groups, polished rings, and cathedrals (geodes). A couple examples are shown below.

The back of the specimen is lined with more amethyst crystals.
