The Early Dance Bibliography

publications, papers presented, teaching, performance,
reconstructions and choreography by dance historians, practitioners and scholars

At the closing session of the International Early Dance Conference, Ghent 2000, Barbara Sparti proposed the idea of an Early Dance Bibliography, similar to the bibliography of members' works published regularly by the Study Group for Ethnochoreology of the International Council for Traditional Music.

Ingrid Brainard's curriculum vitae as edited for the Society of Dance History Scholars website by Claude Conyers is a model for the bibliography. (See the Special Features section of the SDHS website.) Further work on the bibliography is in progress by the Society of Dance History Scholars Early Dance Working Group.
