Lytec 2008 New Features
Three common use fields have
been added to the Patient Information Tab. Fields previously created under the
Custom Tab were not removed. These fields were created to increase efficiency:

The Appointment Window Layout is now customizable. Double-click the new top left grid to open
the same Layout Editor that is used throughout Lytec.

As with other grids, you are
now able to add columns, change labels, change column order, and adjust column
widths.

The Recall List can be found
under the Activities Menu by selecting Recall List. Previously Recall Appointments could only be
deleted from Scheduler Pro. Now they can
be deleted from the Recall List by selecting the Recall and pressing the Delete
button.

Practices often have a
standard packet of documents that they require a new patient to read and/or
fill out. Such a New Patient Package
could include a Notice of Privacy Policy with a corresponding Acknowledgement, Medical
Release, Patient Information and History form, Super Bill, etc. A New Patient Package was added to Scheduler
Pro, which allows the practice to do the following:
Create
customizable Report Package that can be printed by a single request
Allows for
multiple reports to printed from a patients appointment
Right-click
functionality added directly to the Scheduler
Patient Packages
can consist of up to 10 custom report files
No filters will
be presented to the user, since the patient package uses the selected
appointment information to fill in the report
To open the Patient Package
list, go to Settings>Preferences, and from the Preferences window, select
the Patient Package tab. By clicking the
Add button, a Patient Package Report can be added.

Select a file in the Custom
Reports folder, and press Open to add it to the Patient Package. You will be returned
to the patient package screen.

If you selected a .LCG file
in the Open screen you will see the following prompt, asking if this is a Super
Bill.

The application must perform
a considerable amount of processes to generate a Super Bill, which differs from
generic report. The other report types do not need additional processing, which
explains why this prompt opens concurrently with the .LCG file extension.
Tips and Tricks
If the report is a Super Bill and the No button is selected, the application will not load the
appointment information required by the Super Bill, resulting in blank fields
in the report.
Select the appointment for
Patient Package to print, and right-click to bring up the context menu for that
appointment. Left-click on Print Patient Package here. Select the printer to
print the Patient Package and click OK.

When utilizing custom
reports, there are some cases where there are fields in the report that are not
related to an appointment, generating the window below.

This particular error occurs
if the No button is selected when a
Super Bill is added to the Report Package, causing the application to exclude the
appointment information required by the Super Bill, resulting in a report with
blank fields.
