Political Candidate

for Manatee County Commissioner

www.VoteNORWOOD.com

I came within 255 votes of winning a very closely contested primary race for Manatee County Commissioner. In my first (grassroots) political campaign, I spent $2,200 against $97,000 by my opponents. I ran on a strong platform of rebuilding our manufacturing & economic base, and cutting taxes through jobs recruitment & creation. The results, described by many as a personal win, have proved my capability, viability and strength as a highly electable candidate. By applying my manufacturing, and materials expertise, my per vote cost was only $1.60 -vs- $47.00 by my opponent who only surpassed me by a very small margin of 4.9%. I went on to aid and openly support my opponent on to victory in the general election.
